The inaugural Totnes Fringe Festival will take place from 11-13 July 2025, featuring a comprehensive programme of theatre, contemporary dance, new writing, physical theatre, comedy, magic shows, and children’s storytelling in various venues and public spaces across Totnes.

The Totnes Pulse have been chosen to run the ticket office and the full listings with ticket links can be found here.

It is 100% volunteer-led and funded through crowdfunding, grant awards, local business sponsorship, and revenue from ticket sales.

There is also a fund raising auction of a large painting donated by Steve Nayar.  A wildlife artist based in Totnes, whose evocative oil paintings spotlight endangered species with striking realism and emotional depth. Beyond his artistic achievements, Steve is deeply committed to conservation efforts; he donates a portion of his art sales to various global wildlife organisations. The auction will run until the festival ends on July 13.

With over 100 performer applications and five venues participating, it promises to be an exciting addition to the town’s cultural calendar.
