s to provide practical, life‑saving assistance to Ukrainians affected by the ongoing conflict.
The Bob being driven over is the oldest in the fleet and will be taken as far as Poland by chair of trustees Steve Grove and then taken further by Jimmy Edmonds, co-founder of the Good Grief Project.

The yellow bus will remain in the country to help evacuate refugees from frontline villages and support other civilian initiatives.

One hundred vehicles from  South Devon have so far made it to the country which was invaded by Russian forces four years ago.

The Good Grief Project is a bereavement charity supporting grieving parents and siblings and will be using the journey as a chance to learn more about how war and loss are affecting Ukrainian families and wider society.

Ukrainian ActionSteve has a JustGiving page raising money for Ukrainian Action.

He said: “I’ve been so impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of the team that when it was suggested that I might join the convoy in July I really wanted to get involved.  None of the vehicles travel empty and volunteer drivers are self funding.  The vehicles need to be prepared and insured.  So any donations will go directly towards the project.
