Where did the year go?
It’s May and momentum is gathering behind Totnes Fringe Festival.
Comedian and son of South Devon Josh Widdicombe has become the festival’s patron.
Josh, who according to the internet is a Plymouth Argyle supporter and a vegetarian, went to school in Ashburton.

Who knows, he may turn up at the next fundraiser…. Which is on May 20th at the Barrel House.
It’s a variety night hosted by poet Jonathan Mason. “We want to keep it pacy, on its toes,” he said.
As well as verses from Jonathan there will be Vox Theatre, a two-person troupe who’ll be performing a medley of pieces from faves like Pride and Prejudice (wet shirt optional?) rooted in voice, physical storytelling, and the belief that theatre should feel welcoming, alive, and human. Poet Poppy Jane Jones;
Luke Marzec and his three piece band and, to great anticipation, the Barrel House’s own Tracey Gillies will be singing with Will Tyler.
As it’s a seated event tickets are limited to 90 so Jonathan urges you to get on with it and buy a ticket!

Meanwhile sponsors are being generous with their backing and the team running the festival are gearing up for the four day July extravaganza which is the Totnes Fringe!
