Two Years of ParkRun
On April 5th we celebrated our two years anniversary at Sharpham estate parkrun.

It also involved measuring the path to ensure it was exactly 5 kilometres, risk assessments and training for our volunteers. COVID intervened and we were forced to delay the start of the parkrun until April 2023. Since then we have managed to attract about 100 runners every week and we have survived running through herds of cattle, random farm vehicles on the path and various trees falling across the path.
We have been extremely lucky in the dedicated group of volunteers who ensure the track is safe and that everyone gets their time for the run promptly.

The course record is 15.52 by Rory Barclay-Watt who set this record on April 5th. But you can jog the course or walk it.
You will never be last as there is always a tail Walker behind you!
