Can you spare a couple of minutes with a £100 prize draw?
We bang on a lot about scrutiny and reporting here at the Pulse but what do you think?
Are we wasting our time? Should we stay or should we go as Joe Strummer so aptly put it.
What do you think about your Totnes Pulse? Take this quick survey and you could win £100! We promise – we won’t come at you with a clipboard!
The survey is run by a charity, the Public Interest News Foundation, (PINF) and is open until 31 January 2025.
They have been advocating for local publications like The Totnes Pulse, The Peoples Republic of South Devon, The Bristol Cable and many others all around the UK.
The PINF have set up the Local News Commission who will be examining the state of local news-gathering and reporting in the face of ever decreasing relevant news output through traditional means.
Can publications like this one make any difference? This survey will assist them to gauge if the hyper-local community based sites are helping and how effective they are and how they could be better in the future.
Your views will help communities all across the UK – It would be a huge favour to us if you were able to spare just a few minutes to answer a few simple questions and offer an opinion or two.
