Support local journalism
A recent independant survey by the Public Interest News Foundation about the Totnes Pulse found that 93.5% of respondants “feel better informed about my community“.
With national news sources becoming increasingly partisan, funding for local journalism being cut on both TV and other local media and increasing reliance on unregulated social media with it’s wild mis-information, the Totnes Pulse, like many other online publications all around the UK is hyper-local and accountable.
Not just to you, but as members of Impress – an organisation that monitors fairness and regulates against mis-information, we are dedicated to holding people and organisations to account, providing interesting, informative, entertaining content, podcasts and providing comprehensive listings of entertainments, social clubs and support organisations.
Sadly – none of this is free so we need to sustain this project with cold-hard-cash –
so your support really does make ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
