ANRÁN special preview event for charity

Following the success of last year’s event, ANRÁN ChristmasFest is back this winter. Visitors can look forward to an even bigger and better event, with 40 hand-picked local artisans coming together for a Christmas craft market with a difference.

Gifting And Giving To A Good Cause

The owners of the venue, a private home that is available for hire for weddings and exclusive events, Mike Jowett and Edwin Ho, have donated the use of the impressive space to support small local businesses. In addition, they will be raising funds for charity by hosting a special preview of the craft market. The Charity preview event is held on Friday, 17th November 2023, before the market officially opens its doors to the public on 18th and 19th November.

Attendees for the preview event will enjoy a special programme and the ticket fee of £20 includes the following:

• Carols in the courtyard with the Ashburton Choir, with a complimentary festive drink and Christmas canapes

• Hot food in The Haybarn with a live band and a bar

• Charity auction with all proceeds donated to Cancer Research UK and Veterans with Dogs

• And of course, a chance to shop without the madding crowds and get first dibs on a wonderful selection of unique Christmas gifts

All profits from the event will go to Cancer Research UK and Veterans with Dogs.

Many of us have had personal experience or have had someone close to us who has been affected by cancer or mental health concerns. These charities and the individuals they help need as much support as possible, particularly in this festive season. Shopping, music, good food and drinks – all for a good cause. Shop, Sample And Raffle

The list of makers and artisans participating in this year’s ANRÁN ChristmasFest has been curated by the ANRÁN potters – Jess, Lucy and Tor – who share the pottery studio at ANRÁN.
In addition to craft stalls selling a variety of products ranging from Christmas stocking fillers to pottery and art, there will be a dedicated ‘Print Hut’ for those looking for original prints and artwork. There will also be food and drink available, including free tastings. Visitors attending the weekend event will also be able to participate in a tombola, where they will stand a chance to win holiday treats. The ANRÁN potters say, “We are incredibly excited to be using more space at ANRÁN to will showcase even more makers this year. We really want to shout about supporting small businesses and shopping locally. The event will gather people together, not only to have a great time but also to do some good for charity. We really want this Christmas craft market to stand out as a place to come and buy unique, quality gifts, eat delicious food, meet friends, have a great time, all whilst supporting charity.”
