New York’s Singer-Songwriter, Doe Paoro brings her UK tour to St Mary’s in October.

Doe Paoro is a singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist from New York who creates immersive musical experiences rooted in ritual that invite audiences into deep reflection, remembrance and
harmony. In this concert, Doe and her band will share music from past albums as well as her most recent album, Living Through Collapse — a body of work that asks us to sit with the grief and sacred responsibility of living in a world in crisis.

Drawing from a wide-ranging musical life that has included collaborations and performances alongside artists from Gipsy Kings to Bon Iver, her work bridges many worlds through intimate songwriting. “This album came from asking myself how we show up for that collapse, and how music can hold space for repair as well as the birthing of new possibilities.” How might music help orient us in disorienting times?
