TCDS Announce 2.5 million funding for ATMOS

The Totnes Community Development Society (TCDS) have just announced a huge boost to the ATMOS regeneration project based in the Old Dairy Crest site by Totnes Railway station.

The grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, will fund the remodelling of the Brunel Pumping station, which was originally part of the Atmospheric Railway in 1844 into a ‘vibrant space for community enterprise, events and local services’.

Peter Shearn

Peter is an ex businessman who founded and ran a bookings software company (CaterBook) for 15 years before selling the business on. He moved here with his partner from Bristol in 2005.  Now a musician, Peter set up the Totnes Pulse with Mark El Khadi in 2016 as part of a campaign to help save the Market Square from development into shops. He now manages the Pulse as a C.I.C. and contributes stories.
