Malcolm Parlett talks ‘Future Sense’ at St Mary’s
Malcolm Parlett’s work is to research, as well help release and stimulate, humanity’s ‘Whole Intelligence‘.

What does this mean?
According to the Whole Intelligence website: “Whole Intelligence refers to the human ability to act in ways that are competent, compassionate, wise and creative, drawing on life skills, humanitarian values, and sensitivity to context. The Manifesto maintains that a first and necessary step towards the fundamental change that is needed in the world right now is for human beings to cultivate their collective Whole Intelligence.”
The talk on Monday re-introduces his book “Future Sense: Five Explorations of Whole Intelligence”. The premise is that it how ‘Whole Intelligence’ cab strengthen us in transforming the world and our lives at the same time.
Faced with today’s global challenges, humanity often seems in-effective, distracted or powerless.
Many are pessimistic about our descendants future chances. In Future Sense Malcolm Parlett advocates that tackling global problems can begin in the microcosm of our own lives.
Our interconnectedness means that changes in the small worlds we inhabit have ripple effects that affect the wider world. Everyone can help shape humanitys’ future.
Malcolm will offer a free experiential preparation for the evening talk for anyone unfamiliar with the core practices of the ‘Five Explorations’ of Whole Intelligence.
