New year – New you?

Learn Devon are based in the Mansion on Fore Street and are putting forward the new courses for this year.

Learn Devonseek to deliver high-quality learning experiences to support the personal, social, health and economic development of individuals and communities creating a safe and healthy place where people have choice, control, and good employment opportunities.” Which we think translates as adult learning opportunities.

Learn Devon is a registered Ofsted provider (rated 2: good) and is hosted by Devon County Council, funded primarily through the Education Skills Funding Agency.

Lots to choose from…

Artful types can delve into the delights of willow weaving, book-binding, photography, pottery and others pursuits.  Literary people can learn Spanish and Italian and creative writing. It’s also a great opportunity to brush up on Maths and English too, some of these courses are free.

There are plenty of courses to choose from and the courses can be downloaded here.

Act quickly though and make sure you enrol in good time to get the full benefits of the courses!

          If you check “South” on their website there are a few courses. Sadly not very many.
