How Is That Galleon Going?

Steamer Quay GalleonAshley Butler – a real life-proper shipbuilder in Falmouth is working on the re-furbishment and  the Totnes Pulse have exclusive photos to re-assure our younger residents that works are proceeding and the good ship should be re-instated on its moorings at Steamer Quay in the next few weeks.

Craftsmanship on ship is on show in these photos from the Falmouth boatyard where the Steamer Quay galleon is being refitted.
The original builder, Ashley Butler, who is also the original builder is repairing the galleon which it’s hoped will be back on its moorings by the Dart by the middle of this month.
The ship has been boarded by thousands of children playing on its deck since it was installed by Bridgetown Alive in 2013.
