Green Table Café 1st Birthday Celebration

On Friday August 29th, the Green Table Café is hosting a night of music to mark its first birthday under the new management of Mark and Vicky Annear pictured above with Esme behind the bar.  Better known as owner/managers of the hugely successful Cott Inn, they are transforming the venue into a lively hub for live music, creative gatherings, art, and delicious food – from wood-fired pizzas and vibrant street food to the brand new well-stocked bar – perfectly balancing Dartington’s history with a fresh, contemporary energy.

The live music will feature sets from jazz/rock duo Jazzient and relatively new to the live music scene – Dreamadelica, a blend of jazz, funk, electronica, and ambient textures into hypnotic live sets.- we thought we’d find out more about this trio…

What are her influences? “Growing up I was really influenced by female folk idols like Kate Rusby and Eliza Cathy and I listened to a lot of Nick Drake.  It’s a real mixture!” She’s also co-creating with Gilbert, The Boy Who Climbed the Stars, an immersive music, dance, and film project exploring environmental themes.
