Get creative and win!
Have fun and get creative with the festival’s art competition!
Create a 15cm square artwork which says something about Totnes history on paper, card or whatever else you fancy in any medium: paint, pen, pencil, felt tips, collage etc .
Write your name, age and a contact enail address or phone number on the back of your entry and bring it along to the competition post box in the foyer of Totnes Library any time during library opening hours from Monday 15 Septernber up to 1.00 pm on festival day, Saturday, 27th September. All the entries will be on display for everyone to enjoy for the following two weeks at the library
when judging will take place and the winners will be informed
- £25 voucher to spend in East Gate Bookshop, Totnes for the winner of each age group:
- 7 and under
- 8-12 years
- 13-15 years
Following the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural event, the Heritage Trust is proud to bring the community another exciting day in September, packed with historic exhibitions, guided walks, live music, interactive workshops, and family-friendly fun across Totnes’ most iconic landmarks.
From hands-on activities at the Mansion and fascinating displays at the Guildhall and Image Bank, to performances at the Town Mill and free entry to Totnes Castle, the festival promises something for everyone. And best of all – it’s completely free to attend, thanks to the generous support of the Totnes Town Council.
The competition judge will be Sarah Bowman, of White Space Art in Totnes and you can collect your entry any time during library opening hours in the week beginning Monday, 13th October,
